We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Unlike the majority of state constitutions, which acknowledge God in their preambles, the national constitution fails to include Him.

Like Nebuchadnezzar of old, "We the people" have asserted that we have the power on our own to build something mighty and good.

This pride, this arrogance, this sin of omission of our forefathers needs to be confessed and made right.

Here is a suggestion of how to do it.

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it. (Psalms 127:1)

For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
